Everything you can do with Vantage AI, where to find it, and how to use it. Looking for something specific? Use the table of contents below.

Looking for the bigger-picture stuff — how AI models build their view of your brand, how scans actually change outputs, how this differs from SEO/PR? Read the conceptual FAQ →

Getting startedAll tiers

  1. Sign up at vantagehub.info/signup. Pick your plan (Starter $29 / Pro $99 / Agency $499 per month), enter your email, optionally a brand or domain to scan first.
  2. Complete checkout with a card — Stripe handles billing.
  3. Click the magic link in your inbox. You'll land on the dashboard.
  4. If you entered a target during signup, your first scan kicks off automatically. By the time you log in it should be complete or nearly there — open it from the History table.
  5. Change plans anytime from the Settings page — Stripe handles the proration math automatically.

Running a scanAll tiers

Scans probe Claude (Anthropic) and Gemini (Google) on every tier, plus ChatGPT (OpenAI) on Pro and Agency. All providers run with live web grounding so the report reflects what's actually retrievable about your target right now. Higher tiers also include more prompts per scan.

Where: Dashboard → top of the page, the “Website / domain” card.

  1. Website / domain (required) — your domain, e.g. vantagehub.info. We read your live site to anchor the scan to the real you. Capitalization and spacing are auto-normalized so the same domain groups together in history.
  2. Brand name (required) — your brand exactly as it should be recognized, e.g. Vantage AI. This is what tells the models which company is yours when others share your domain's name.
  3. (Pro+) Add tags to organize the scan — e.g. q4-audit, client-acme. Press Enter or comma to add.
  4. (Optional) Toggle “Email me a summary when this scan finishes” if you'll be away. Off by default for manual scans.
  5. Click START SCAN. Status goes QUEUED → RUNNING → complete. Average time is 3-7 minutes (longer with web grounding).

Why both fields matter — entity disambiguation. For a contested name (“Vantage” matches dozens of companies), AI models easily confuse you with a same-name business. Two mechanisms prevent that:

  • Your brand name tells the models which entity to look for, instead of guessing from your domain's stem (which for vantagehub.info would wrongly guess “Vantagehub”).
  • Your live website is read as ground truth. The report's analysis is anchored to what your own site says you do — so if a model or web search surfaces a different company that shares your name, it's flagged as a conflation risk rather than reported as a fact about you.
  • Don't include the URL scheme — type vantagehub.info, not https://vantagehub.info. Don't add qualifying words like “cybersecurity firm.”
  • Use the same domain every time so history tracks your trend cleanly.

Daily limit: paid subscribers get 5 scans per day on every tier. Bonus scans (granted by support) are consumed only after the daily limit is hit.

Free trial accounts: if you were invited to try Vantage on a free/comped account, you have a fixed number of free scans (no daily refresh). When they're used up, the scan button becomes “Upgrade to keep scanning” — pick a plan to subscribe and your daily allowance kicks in immediately.

Background scans: if you navigate away mid-scan, the worker keeps running. When you return to the dashboard tab, the scan picks up where it left off — if it finished while you were away, the report renders automatically. You can also see queued/running scans in the “Scans in progress” panel above the scan form (auto-refreshes every 10 seconds), and any completed scan always lands in your history.

Reading a reportAll tiers

Where: Dashboard → History table → click View on any row.

Each report contains:

  • Overall reputation score (0–100): a holistic score the synthesizer model assigns after reviewing every queried model's response together. It's the synthesizer's judgment of overall reputational health — not a math formula derived from the sub-scores below
  • Score breakdown: four deterministic sub-scores computed from the report data — independent windows into different dimensions of what the scan found (see next section)
  • Key findings (Pro+): 3-7 specific things models said about you, with source URLs when web grounding fired
  • Sentiment analysis: positive / neutral / negative ratios and dominant tone
  • Hallucinations: things models said that are wrong, with severity (low / medium / high)
  • Recommendations: 3-5 concrete actions to improve your score next time. Pro+ can convert these to to-dos with one click
  • History comparison: how this scan compares to your last few of the same target
  • Sources consulted: every web page the models pulled from. The full list renders on every report, no tier cap.

Score breakdown (sub-scores)All tiers

Below the overall score on every report, you'll see four sub-scores. These are calculated by deterministic formulas from the report data — same input every time produces the same output, no model judgment involved:

  • Hallucination resistance — starts at 100, drops by 5/12/25 for each low/medium/high hallucination found
  • Sentiment health — positive ratio + half-credit neutral, minus a penalty if the dominant tone is negative or inscrutable
  • Discoverability — how many sources actually reference your target name in their URL. Low scores mean the AI couldn't find much specifically about you
  • Report depth — function of how many key findings the models surfaced and across how many categories

Important: these sub-scores do not feed into the overall score. The overall score is the synthesizer model's holistic judgment; the sub-scores are independent measurements you can use to understand why your overall score is where it is. They're parallel views of the same underlying scan data.

History & PDF exportAll tiers

Where: Dashboard → “Report History” table at the bottom.

  • View opens the full report
  • Export PDF opens the report with print mode triggered — your browser's Print dialog appears, set destination to “Save as PDF”
  • Delete removes the scan permanently from your history (no undo)

The most recent 50 scans are stored. Older ones drop off automatically.

Tags & filtered historyPro+

Where: Dashboard scan form → Tags input below the target field.

Tags let you group scans by client, campaign, or workflow. Up to 10 tags per scan, 30 chars each.

The History table shows a Tags column for Pro+, plus filter chips above the table — click a tag to filter, click “All” to clear. Useful when you have many scans across multiple brands.

Note: Tags are stored regardless of tier. If you downgrade from Pro to Starter, your historical tags stay in the data; you just lose the input UI and filter chips.

To-Dos (action items)Pro+

Where: “To-Dos” in the top nav (Pro+ only).

Convert any recommendation in a scan report into a tracked to-do:

  1. Open a report
  2. Scroll to the “Recommendations” section
  3. Click + Add next to any recommendation — it's now a to-do linked back to the scan that generated it

On the To-Dos page:

  • Filter by Open / Done / All using the chips at the top
  • Click the checkbox to mark done — the timestamp is recorded automatically
  • Click any priority chip to cycle through none → low → medium → high
  • Add a freeform to-do via the inline form (no scan link required)

Scheduled scans + email alertsPro+

Where: “Schedules” in the top nav (Pro+ only).

Set a target to re-scan automatically. Pro = 1 active schedule, Agency = up to 5.

  1. Add the target name and pick a cadence: daily / weekly / biweekly / monthly
  2. (Agency) Optionally scope it to a project
  3. Toggle the schedule on. Next run time appears immediately

Email behavior:

  • Scheduled scans always send a completion email when done. The subject line shows the score delta when |Δ| ≥ 5
  • Manual scans only email when you've toggled “Email me when a manual scan finishes” on the dashboard or in Settings
  • If a scheduled scan comes due but you're at your daily cap, it's skipped and you get a notification email — the schedule still advances to its next run

On downgrade: if you go from Agency (5 schedules) to Pro (1) or Starter (0), the oldest schedule is kept and the rest are auto-disabled. Re-enable individually if you re-upgrade.

Competitor benchmarkingPro+

Where: Dashboard → “Competitor Benchmark” card between the stats strip and scan form.

Pin rival brands to track their scores alongside yours. Pro = 3 pins, Agency = 5.

  1. Type a rival's brand or domain in the “Pin” input at the bottom of the card
  2. Click + Pin — the rival appears as a card with placeholder “not yet scanned”
  3. Click Scan now on the card to run a competitor scan in the background — it appears in the “Scans in progress” panel above
  4. When the scan completes, the card updates with the rival's score color-coded green/yellow/red

Important — competitor scans are isolated:

  • They do not appear in your portfolio metrics (Latest Score, Average, Score History chart, Report History table)
  • They do count toward your daily 5-scan limit (cost-safe default)
  • If you scan the same target via the regular dashboard form, that's a portfolio scan — it won't appear in the rival card

Project scoping (Agency): when a project is selected in the dashboard picker, only competitors pinned for that project appear. Otherwise globals (no project) show.

Side-by-side report comparisonPro+

Where: Open any of your portfolio reports → “Compare with…” dropdown in the action row at the top.

Available when you have at least one pinned competitor with a completed scan in the same project as the report.

Selecting a competitor shows a comparison panel above the score breakdown:

  • Three-column header: You / Delta / Competitor — overall scores in big numbers
  • Four paired sub-score bars (hallucination / sentiment / discoverability / depth) with per-row deltas color-coded by winner
  • Quick-stats row: # of findings + # of sources for each side
  • Link to view the competitor's full report

The comparison panel renders in PDF exports too, so agency deliverables can include side-by-side benchmarks.

Projects (multi-brand)Agency

Where: “Projects” in the top nav.

Isolate scans, history, schedules, and competitors per client or brand. One console, separate books of business — no cross-contamination.

  1. Create a project: name + optional description + default tags
  2. Switch context via the project picker on the dashboard (above the stats strip)
  3. All scans run while a project is selected get tagged with that project — chart, history, competitors, schedules all filter accordingly
  4. Archive a project to hide it without deleting data

Selecting All scans shows everything across projects. Unfiled (no project) shows scans not associated with any project.

White-label PDF reportsAgency

Where: Settings → “White-label branding” card.

Replace Vantage branding with your own on every PDF you export.

  1. Logo URL: must be an https:// URL pointing to your logo image. Host it anywhere (your own site, a CDN, Imgur, etc.)
  2. Company name: appears as “Confidential” sub-label in the report header (e.g. “Acme Reputation Partners — Confidential”)
  3. Brand color: hex color used for the header accent border, sub-label color, and logo glow

A live preview appears as you fill in the fields. Click Save branding to apply.

Branding follows the report owner — so if you generate a public share link of a report you own, recipients see your branding on the share page.

A small “Powered by Vantage AI” footnote is added to the very bottom of white-labeled reports for attribution.

Account settingsAll tiers

Where: Settings in the top nav.

  • Account — your email, current plan, and admin status
  • Notifications — toggle email-on-scan-complete (also available inline on the dashboard scan form)
  • White-label branding (Agency only)
  • Your plan — the three tier cards. Upgrade / downgrade with one click
  • Send feedback — bug, feature idea, or question. Goes straight to the inbox; reply comes back to your email
  • Delete account — type-to-confirm. Cancels your subscription, deactivates immediately, and starts a 30-day timer. Sign back in within 30 days to reactivate (a new subscription is required); after 30 days everything is permanently deleted

Plan changes & billingAll tiers

Where: Settings → “Your plan” card.

Click any tier card to switch. Stripe handles the math:

  • Upgrade — Stripe charges the prorated difference now and you get the new tier immediately
  • Downgrade — Stripe credits the unused balance toward your next invoice and switches you to the lower tier immediately
  • Schedule overflow on downgrade: if you go from a tier with more schedules to one with fewer, excess schedules auto-disable. The Settings page alerts you with a count and a link to /schedules to re-enable later if needed
  • Cancel anytime — when your subscription lapses, you drop to Starter immediately (no grace period)

Invoices and payment history live in your Stripe customer portal — link sent in your billing emails.

FAQ & troubleshootingAll tiers

My scan is stuck on “running” for more than 10 minutes

Scans time out at 10 minutes. If yours appears stuck, the worker likely already finished — refresh the dashboard and check History. If it's genuinely stuck, contact support.

Why did my score drop after enabling web grounding?

Web grounding makes the models more critical because they see what's actually findable about you. A drop usually reveals real gaps — namespace conflicts, weak SEO, sparse coverage. The recommendations in your report tell you what to publish next.

Discoverability shows 0 — is that a bug?

No — it means none of the sources the models found contain your target name in their URL. Common for very new or low-presence brands. Build out a few authoritative pages (your own site, LinkedIn company page, Crunchbase) and re-scan in a week.

My report says “Inconclusive Scan” — what does that mean?

The AI models we queried (Claude and Gemini) had nothing substantive to say about your target. Common reasons:

  • The brand is too new or too small to have entered model training data, AND there's not enough on the open web for live web grounding to find
  • The target name is ambiguous (e.g. a common word) and models couldn't pin down which entity you meant — try a more specific name like a domain, full company name, or person + role
  • API issue — rare, but possible. If you suspect this, re-scan in 5 minutes

When this happens, the report shows an amber Inconclusive Scan banner and the Hallucination Resistance metric becomes N/A — with no claims to fact-check, a perfect score there would be misleading. The other three metrics still render with context notes:

  • Sentiment drops correctly to capture the AI's silence
  • Discoverability shows web presence — note this is a separate signal from AI synthesis quality (the web has pages about you, but AI couldn't synthesize them)
  • Depth counts what the synthesizer surfaced (which could include findings about the gap itself)

The honest signal is the AI invisibility, and the recommendations in the report address how to build a public footprint that LLMs can actually summarize.

I pinned a competitor but the card shows “not yet scanned”

Pinning a competitor doesn't auto-scan them. Click Scan now on the competitor card to run a benchmark scan. The card updates when the scan completes.

Public share links show no logo / wrong colors

Branding follows the report owner. If you set white-label branding in Settings, all your reports (including share links) use it. If a recipient sees Vantage default branding, the report owner hasn't set their brand fields yet, or they aren't on the Agency plan.

I'm on Pro and the “Compare with” dropdown isn't showing

The dropdown only appears when you have at least one pinned competitor that's been scanned. Pin a rival on the dashboard, click Scan now, wait for the scan to finish, then refresh the report.

How do I change the email address on my account?

Currently email changes require support — email [email protected]. Self-service email change is on the roadmap.
